How to obtain your
caderneta predial online.

Access the property records as their holder. Authentication takes place only on the official tax portal; RIDIUM does not need your password or access codes. The caderneta identifies the tax registration and tax value, not the expected sale price.

1. Open the official portal

   Go to Portal das Finanças and use its search.

2. Search for the tax record

   Search for the Portuguese term “Caderneta predial urbana”. Choose access to the property records. The AT also identifies the route “Imóveis → Consultar Património Predial”.

3. Sign in on the official website

   Complete the authentication requested by the tax authority. Do not enter your credentials on RIDIUM’s website.

4. Identify the correct property

   Check the parish, property type, article number and unit, where applicable, before selecting “Caderneta”.

5. Save or print

   Open the document and save or print it. If the browser shows a print dialog, you may be able to select “Save as PDF”.

Menus may change. If you cannot find the route, use the portal search or the official AT help.

If the property is missing or details differ, ask the AT for clarification rather than selecting another property. You can also request the record at a tax office, subject to the applicable fees.

The tax record does not replace the land registry certificate. Keep it safely; the initial RIDIUM form does not receive documents. Return to the document guide for context.
